Minimum balance requirement for NMB Smart Nari Bachat Khata is Zero.
All Nepalese female individuals residing inside and outside Nepal of all age group are eligible for this product.
The issuance charge of NMB omnichannel is free for first year of account opening. Thereafter, charges will be available as per STC. (Omnichannel banking refers to the mobile and internet banking facilities provided by NMB bank)
NMB Delight debit card, credit card and dollar online payment is free for first year of account opening. Thereafter, charges will be available as per STC.
Dollar card top-up charge is free for top-up of $100 & above for first year only. Charges will be available as per STC thereafter.
DEMAT and Meroshare is free for first year of account opening. Charges will be applicable as per STC thereafter.
Nari Digi Combo is the combined package of mobile banking, internet banking and debit card where the customers could get 50% discount on 5 year charges if paid on lump sum.
Yes, locker facilities are also available under this product. There is 50% discount on annual locker charge for first year and 50% discount on locker margin. Charges will be applicable as per STC thereafter.
There is 0.25% discount on loan processing fee on retail loans & women entrepreneurship loan.
Yes, charges will be available as per STC while transferring scheme.
Yes, Nepalese females of all age group can open this account. Existing minor customers can also change their account/scheme to NMB Smart Nari Bachat Khata.
Joint account can’t be opened under this product.
All customers under “NMB Smart Nari Bachat Khata” are eligible for yearly medical/health check-up facility.
Maximum up to NPR 5,000/- cash back is provided once a year under this facility.
50% of Vat Bill amount or 1% of 6 month average balance, whichever is lower is reimbursed but not exceeding NPR 5,000/- .
VAT bill issued from registered hospitals/clinics under special arrangements done by the bank are acceptable for cashback.
Payment made through digital channels for the medical/health checkup are only reimbursed.
Customers could claim for cashback once a year only upon medical/health checkup.
Step 1: After 6 month from the account open date, bank shall inform customers via message, e-mail and/or phone calls about their eligibility for the cash back.

Step 2: Then customer will visit the nearest branch of NMB bank, where they should submit following documents:
• Copy of original VAT bill (Original bill should also be presented at the branch for verification)
• Completely filled yearly health/ medical checkup claim form (Provided by the bank)

Step 3: The amount shall be reimbursed within 30 days after the presentment of the above mentioned documents to the concerned unit.
No, the check-up should be done after 6 month from the account open date or after the message/ notification about the eligibility sent by the bank.
